some words from Russian student Mitya Kruze
•To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Mitya Kruze. I`m a student of the Perm State Pedagogical University, Russia, the faculty of foreign languages. Alongside with that, I’m a poet, songwriter and musician. I play the guitar and sing in an underground grunge band. Once I happened to get acquainted with Michael Kerins, my great friend now. We are friends for about 3-4 years now. And it`s cool. We are both persons of art. Michael even devoted me one of his stories, it`s awesome. In fact, he`s an outstanding storyteller! No flattery. His stories are really touching. I`m happy I`m able to listen to them in a simple conditions, face to face with my friend, when we can chat, share our thoughts, drink something pleasant, were I can sing to him my songs. I even devoted him my song “Endless Suicide”. It really appealed so much to him. And I know why. Because he understands it, it`s close to him and he feels the mood. Michael is a very easy-goin` person, open-hearted, emotional, jolly. We even call each others “Dude”. It`s cool that we`re able to communicate in such a way! Even though our age difference is 36 years. Michael is young in his soul!) And his behaviour as well! He`s very expressive. I even remember a case when he performed in my university and I saw his performance for the first time! It was outstanding! U could never guess his next action or emotion. He could jump on a teachers table, shouting some special part of his story, then calm down, and come close to any student, and whisper something to him. That`s really cool!
I`m very sorry we belong to different countries and we have so few opportunities to communicate face to face. Only when Michael is here, in Russia.

We also manage to perform together for homeless street children, pupils of the school for blind people and many other places. I perform as Michaels interpriter. And we`ve managed to organize great performances! We are happy to communicate all the year by ICQ in real time. We storytell, laugh, support each others. We`ve got outstanding chats and tell each other fascinating stories. One of such great stories was Michael`s 18-54. It`s marvellous. Internet is the only way out when we are far away, but once a year Michael manages to come here and we have fascnating moments! He wears his kilt here and shocks a big deal of people! `Cuz people here are not used to a man in a “skirt”. But it`s cool. So this this very guy in a kilt is accompanied by an interpriter in torn jeans. Me. We are something together. People who see us during our projects for the first time are shocked with interest about us.

We`re planning\dreaming of performing together on-line one day. With Michael`s stories, my songs, and our sincerity. I guess it`ll be cool. And it`s cool that Michael`s visits here are possible. I even wrote some grateful letters to Michaels friends and sponsors, `cuz his visits here are extremely useful for students, pupils, homeless and disabled children. He`s always to help homeless kids with necessary information, clothes, money and stuff. He organizes translating competitions in my university and students are very eager to take part in it. And the do it and win money prizes and some personal presents. That`s really cool!
I guess I’m about to finish. So I can sincerely say that I luv this dude! He`s really cool, an outstanding storyteller and sincere close friend of mine. I`m happy we`ve got our friendship! Peace!;)

Yours sincerely,
Mitya Kruze.
